end of class

My basic photography course finally concluded on Thursday, 17 July 2008! After all effort to get the contact sheet prepared, I totalling forgotten to take it with me to the class, very disappointed! What's next for me! To go out there and take some really good shots and improve on my composition.

Pheew!!, finally managed to finish this project for Brenda !

Learnt crackle method on the fence, interesting but do not really fancy this effect.

I really like the stone effect of the base. The stones look so real!! Glad that I am able to paint to achieve this effect.

As my girl is studying History and Political Science, the book has these titles on the spine but it has been turned around so cannot be seen now.

Basic Photography class

Basic photography course starts June 5, 08 and looking forward to my first class. Shutter speed, aperture, metering, over exposure, under exposed...... all sounded sooo confusing. Why are my photos still looking so blur and uninteresting!

It is really unusual this year as I received lots and lots of pineapple tarts. Everyone seems to make these tarts and they come in different sizes, shapes and designs.

My favourite are the tarts at bottom container on the right. They are given by my gee's colleagues wife who made such heavenly tarts! Thanks!

CNY

Chinese New Year is approaching in 2 weeks time and I have not done up my living room yet ! Not in the mood to celebrate as my girl is in UK. It will be her first Chinese New Year away from home. Made some cookies last week and they all turned out great. Now awaiting to distribute them to my sisters and sister-in-law. Apparently my nephews love my chocolate cookies which they have "pleaded" with me to bake for them.
